The Speed-X 8500 2D barcode scanner is a wired handheld CMOS imager that reads both 1D barcodes and 2D codes such as QR, Data Matrix and PDF417. It reads them from printed labels or straight off a phone screen. Plug it into any USB port and it types the scanned data into your POS, inventory sheet or billing software like a keyboard.
